Business Resumption Plan

We are please to announce the final version of our Business Resumption Plan has been approved for use by local CBP leadership. This plan provides the framework for communication, coordination, and operational activities during times were standard procedures are not applicable.  This plan will ensure legitimate trade continue to cross without undue delay during event or incident have the potential to  significantly disrupt trade flows or service levels on a area wide or national basis.
 

Status of World Trade Bridge as of May 25th 2017

LAREDO POLICE DEPARTMENT
NEWS RELEASE
U.S. Customs and Border Protection and Customs of Nuevo Laredo issue update on the resumption of the processing of empties at World Trade Bridge as of 1600 hours, Tuesday, May 23, 2017.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection Field Operations in conjunction with Servicio de Administración Tributaria (SAT) Customs of Nuevo Laredo are informing that the processing of empties (tractors and empty trailers) for both import and export through the World Trade Bridge has resumed as of Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 1600 hours.
The resumption of this processing includes the usual operational hours from 0700 hours to 2400 hours daily.
The rest of the Commercial Motor Vehicles are being redirected to Columbia Bridge. We recommend the utilization of Camino Columbia to get to the Columbia Solidarity Bridge. Laredo Police will be on location monitoring traffic and safety. Please monitor Laredo PD’s Face book page for up to the minute updates.
